    Mobilizing youths including girls through awareness campaigns and vocational training to ensure the preservation and transmission of cultural knowledge, the Sacred Mt Elgon / Masaaba Landscape Environment Conservation, Employment, Multi-sector Production, Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Development

    Environmental Conservation & Development

    Promoting sustainable use of Mt. Elgon's resources via multisectoral production and environmental preservation for long-term community resilience.

    Our mission is to protect the Bagisu / Bamasaaba Cultural System implemented through a Bagisu/ Bamasaaba Life Cycle of 12 Production Based Components in order of life thus:

    Male circumcision of Imbalu / Ipalu rituals,

    - Marriage, Dowry Wealth and Alliances,

    - Food, Cuisine and Feastivals (Maleeya / Khamalewa)'

    - Agriculture, Livestock Keeping,

    - Sacred Mt Elgon / Masaaba Lanscape Environmental Conservation,

    - Attire & Dressing Code,

    - Local Architectral,

    - Vocationa Education / Training in Multisector Skills including Cultural Heritage,

    - Belief in True God (Were / Nabende), Masaaba / Nabatwa - Nabalwa Ancestral Veneration.
